Director of Religious Education – Christopher Bakker

He works with church leadership to deliver a religious educational program for children in a child centered model that is increasingly intergenerational. Monthly themes from Soul Matters create consistent, age appropriate discussions & classes for all ages on a weekly basis. There are currently over 8 instructors & 3 paid staff as child care providers.

The church offers Coming of Age (CoA), Our Whole Lives (OWL), nursery thru junior high programs, with plans to expand to high school and lifespan RE. The church coordinates with other Unitarian Universalist churches in the area to foster General Assembly, inter-faith collaboration, and social action/justice.

See the RE Staff, Curriculum, and Children’s Corner for more information about Third Unitarian.
